With this motto Christian Pietsch from Rostock fulfilled a dream of his back in 2007, when he started his own company under the name "Kunst und Lederhandel Pietsch". In 2015 the company was renamed to " Gusti Leder ", in memory of Christian's favourite goat from his childhood. Christian and his employees have made it their business to sell only products made of sustainably produced leather, which consists of 90% Indian or Moroccan goatskin and is obtained from animals that are also used elsewhere in meat production. The travel bags, purses, cosmetic bags, etc. are partly manufactured by 12 family businesses in the Indian state of Rajasthan and in two factories in India and Italy. The products are sold online and in the branches in Hamburg, Rostock and Berlin.
