Wildpark Schwarze Berge

Experience nature

The Wildlife Park Schwarze Berge transports its visitors to the middle of nature and is ideal for family outings due to its wide range of attractions.

South of Hamburg-Harburg is the beautiful park, which was founded in 1969 and is open all year round. The park itself is located in the Harburg mountains. On an area of 50 hectares, 100 animal species with almost 1,000 animals are presented. The wildlife park invites visitors to observe native animal species such as red deer and wolves in a natural environment. There are also spacious enclosures for animals such as deer, brown bears and bison. A visit to the park at any time of year has its own special charm.

Show feedings and petting enclosures

The wildlife park offers visitors the opportunity to attend interesting events such as flight shows, animal feedings or adventure tours. The wolf feeding is particularly recommended. For the little ones, the Schwarze Berge Wildlife Park also has a playground and a petting enclosure where children can pet and feed West African mountain goats. The wildlife park therefore guarantees an eventful visit for the whole family.

Enjoy the view from the Elbe observation tower

On the grounds, you can enjoy the view of the entire port of Hamburg, including the Hamburg-Lohbrügge telecommunications tower, from the Elbe observation tower. Visitors also have the opportunity to take part in guided tours of the Schwarze Berge Wildlife Park. The Nature Experience Centre also offers various theme days during the school holidays.
