The Queen’s Six, the singers from Windsor Castle, live with their families at the royal palace, right next door to the royals, and sing daily in the castle chapel as part of the St George’s Chapel Choir on behalf of His Majesty, King Charles III. In recent years, the singers have often appeared live on television at major royal events watched by billions of viewers.
Whenever they leave Windsor, they swap their red robes of sacred service for elegant bespoke suits and dresses and enjoy their musical freedom, free from the rules of what is arguably the world’s most exclusive residential address. The programme »From Windsor with Love« is a vocal tribute of the most beautiful love songs to mark the 75th coronation anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II and to the British Royal Family. The programme features an impressive range of music spanning the Renaissance, the Baroque period and right up to modern pop history. Historically significant pieces by William Byrd, Henry VIII and Thomas Tallis (»If ye love me«) are closely linked to the history of Windsor Castle and Buckingham Palace in London.
