An evening exploring light, memory, and the ultimate question. Blending elements of a concert, a reading, a show, and a musical reinterpretation, this year-end event not only performs Gustav Mahler’s »Resurrection Symphony« but also brings it into the present. Structured like a play or a film, with the works serving as chapters in a larger narrative: from the gentle »Urlicht« to Edvard Moritz’s »Nachtmusik« and on to the overwhelming finale of Mahler’s Second Symphony.
