All-round training for ambitious young stage talents
Stage School Hamburg is Germany’s largest and oldest state-approved private stage school for performing arts. For more than 30 years, young artists have been trained here to become show business professionals in the fields of dance, singing and acting. Led by a team of sixty lecturers, the training programme comprises three years of intensive practice and study. Over the past decades, many popular German actors and singers have emerged from this school. Instead of attending the required entrance exam locally, applicants can join one of the intensive workshops that are hosted nationwide. In March 2016, the school established its very own theatre, FIRST STAGE. Situated in the immediate vicinity of the school, it provides enrolled students with unique opportunities to gain practical stage experience during their vocational training.
