On the Hahnheider Berg you can find the "Long Otto".

In the middle of the Hahnenheide nature reserve near Trittau stands the highest viewing platform in Schleswig-Holstein. The "Lange Otto" is 26 meters high and is located on the 99 meter high Hahnheider Berg. An ascent is definitely worthwhile to let the view wander over the forest area and enjoy the nature. By the way, the "Lange Otto" was named after the former mayor of Trittau, Otto Hergenhahn. If you not only want to enjoy the view, but also take a short break for reinforcements, you can use the covered picnic area at the foot of the observation tower.
