Whether driven by curiosity or passion – the Hamburg Ballet Days offer spectacular stage moments for anyone inspired by art and movement. Two weeks full of dance, emotion and elegance.

Every summer, the Hamburg Ballet Days transform Hamburg into the centre of international dance. With premieres, classics and young talent, the festival showcases the entire spectrum of the Hamburg Ballet – moving, diverse and of the highest artistic standard.

For over five decades, the Ballet Days have been the glittering highlight of the season. In just two weeks, the festival brings together the artistic diversity of the Hamburg Ballet – with acclaimed works by John Neumeier, exciting new productions and international guest performances.

The 51st edition will open on 20 June 2026 with the world premiere of Alexei Ratmansky's ‘Wonderland’. The programme also includes highlights from the current season and a two-day guest performance by an international company, which will be announced at a later date. The festive finale will be the traditional Nijinsky Gala, which will conclude the season on 5 July 2026.
