Sven Wagenknecht, honoree of the 2025 German Bonsai Prize and a master florist with over ten years of experience in bonsai design, offers a special glimpse into the world of bonsai.
He will present selected trees from his extensive collection and give a live demonstration of summer care techniques for deciduous trees.
Tea will be served, and guests will have the opportunity to ask questions about bonsai, design, and botany.
Doors open at around 5:30 p.m. The talk begins between 6:00 and 6:30 p.m.
Admission is free; donations are welcome.

A new Monday evening series is coming to the Japanese Tea House, hosted by Tee& and Kimono Club Hamburg. Each week, Japan enthusiasts can look forward to a fresh and engaging topic.
On the first and third Mondays of the month, the focus is on tea, with meditations, readings, and other surprise activities from the tea cosmos. The second and fourth Mondays are all about kimono in their many forms and traditions.
Everyone is welcome, from complete beginners to experienced enthusiasts. Participation is warmly encouraged!
