Sachiko Furuhata, who was born in Yokohama, made her debut at Carnegie Hall in New York in 2017 to a standing ovation. Since then, she has performed as a guest artist at various major concert halls, including the San Francisco Herbst Theatre, Edinburgh’s Usher Hall, the Gewandhaus in Leipzig, the Berlin Philharmonie, and the Laeiszhalle in Hamburg. As a soloist, she has performed with orchestras such as the Russian State Philharmonic and the German Radio Philharmonic.
