The Australian progressive heavy psych band **KHAN** is delighted to bring its “That Fair and Warlike Form” tour to Europe. A total of 20 shows are scheduled for September and October. The Melbourne-based trio blends hazy psychedelic soundscapes with heavy stoner riffs, progressive rhythms and almost sluggish, massive crescendos. Their songs create an intense, profound atmosphere and evoke powerful emotional responses – ranging from eerie melancholy to overwhelming, almost otherworldly awe. Vocally, they range from ethereal falsetto to hypnotic crooning, passionate screaming and occasional guttural growls.
In October 2025, KHAN released their critically acclaimed fourth studio album, ‘That Fair and Warlike Form // Return to Dust’, via Full Contact Safari Records. The concept album consists of two 23-minute tracks and tells the story of the sufferings of a man possessed by the spirit of Erlik, the god of death from Turkic-Mongolian mythology. On their upcoming European tour, the band now aims to present the album live to European audiences for the first time since its release. At their gig at Bambi galore in Hamburg, they will be joined by the progressive post-metal trio Skin Thief, who are also from Australia.
**SKIN THIEF** are an instrumental trio playing a progressive style of post-metal. Heavy, bass-driven riffs meet angular rhythms that repeatedly give way to dark, hypnotic atmospheres. The songs meander through introspective soundscapes and often build up to explosive crescendos. Their latest album, “Frozen in the Act of Breaking”, was released in 2025, also via Full Contact Safari Records; the band subsequently toured Australia, supporting KHAN on their tour. The upcoming tour will be Skin Thief’s first ever European tour.
