Re-opening of the Kultur Palast Harburg after four years of construction – let’s celebrate!
4.00 pm to 6.00 pm: Official opening with Dr Andreas Dressel, Senator for Finance, Christian Carstensen, Head of the District Office, and many guests of honour, as well as numerous entertainment acts. Free entry

6.00 pm: Gospeltrain in Concert –
look forward to the ‘Harburg Hymn’, sophisticated arrangements, innovative cover versions of world-famous hits and choral singing with a distinctive style. Free entry
7.15 pm: Muras & Band – The Working Advocates. Four Harburg-based solicitors will get the party started with groovy blues, rock and rock ’n’ roll. Admission: free!
8.15 pm: The Volcanoes.
When soul music bursts forth from the depths of the soul like molten lava from a volcano, that’s The Volcanoes. With their explosive motto ‘Hot and dirty’, this band of top Hamburg musicians ignites a musical fireworks display of passionate soul, Motown and funk, bringing great legends such as Stevie Wonder, Otis Redding, Marvin Gaye, James Brown and Sam Cooke back to life. Volkan Baydar, a chart-topping star of the analogue era and the distinctive voice of the Hamburg cult duo Orange Blue, has fulfilled a long-cherished dream by founding “The Volcanoes”. Admission: free!
9.30 pm: Disco for everyone, with DJ Ron Prinzlau from Downtown Disco in the main hall from 9.00 pm. Admission: free!
