Premiere in Hamburg Harburg: First Children’s Philharmonic concert featuring the Alou String Quartet.

The time has come: the Children’s Philharmonic is launching its Hamburg programme – and what better way than with a real home game! The musicians of the Alou String Quartet met whilst studying at the Hamburg University of Music and Theatre. The Hanseatic city is therefore a musical home for all four of them.

With groove, jazz, improvisation and their own compositions, they demonstrate just how versatile string instruments can sound – from classical music to Greek folk melodies and right through to the blues. How can you improvise yourself?
Together, we’ll sing, clap, move and experiment – an interactive concert where you can join in, discover and be amazed.

Venue: Kultur Palast Harburg, Rieckhoffstraße 14, 21073 Harburg
Featuring Myrsini Bekakou & Alma Gröning – violin, Aydin Bayramoğlu – viola, Esther Thoben – cello
For: Families and anyone who wants to be enchanted by music
