The 27 Club

A tribute show for immortal rock icons

Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison, Brian Jones, Kurt Cobain, and Amy Winehouse – they are all members of the legendary 27 Club. Having passed away at the age of 27, these exceptional artists made music history and influenced generations.

The 27 Club brings their greatest rock anthems to life in a rousing tribute show. A first-class ensemble of selected musicians from the UK brings the greatest rock anthems to life on stage. From Jimi Hendrix's “Purple Haze” to Janis Joplin's “Piece of My Heart” and the Stones classic “(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction” to Nirvana's “Smells Like Teen Spirit,” the result is a thrilling journey through the history of rock ‘n’ roll.

Located on the Reeperbahn, the St. Pauli Theatre enjoys the reputation of being Hamburg's oldest private theatre. The theatre building is already a listed building. Due to its special location in the middle of the Reeperbahn entertainment mile, the performances in the St. Pauli Theatre also have a more rustic feel than in the usual city theatres in Hamburg, promising even long-established theatre fans a refreshingly different performance experience. 

  • By public transport / HVV S-Bahn lines S1 or S3 to Reeperbahn stop; U-Bahn line U3 to St. Pauli stop; bus to Davidstraße stop 
  • By car A7 from the north: Take the Stellingen exit onto Kieler Straße in the direction of Centrum/Altona, Hafen. Turn into Reeperbahn at the S-Bahn Reeperbahn junction. A1 motorway from the south or north: Motorway junction Hamburg Süd onto the A255 over the Elbbrücken towards Centrum. Straight ahead via Amsinckstraße, Willy-Brandt-Straße, Ludwig-Erhard-Straße to Millerntor (U-Bahn St. Pauli). Spielbudenplatz 29-30, 20359 Hamburg
  • Parking A car park is located directly in front of the theatre at Spielbudenplatz, entrance at Operettenhaus level. You will find other multi-storey car parks in the immediate vicinity.
