Experience culture. Poetry Slam in Hamburg

Hamburg stands for art and culture through and through. And over the years, poetry slams have gained a firm place in Hamburg's cultural programme. Those who want to see young lyrical talents have the opportunity to do so in Hamburg almost every week. The young poet scene meets here regularly on stage to compete and inspire the audience. And with the "artistic duels", the city even has its own unofficial championship. Here, you'll find an overview of current events and the most frequent venues.

    20 Jahre Boulanger Trio

In February 2026, the Boulanger Trio will celebrate 20 years together – with the same line-up since its foundation. This rare continuity has given rise to a distinctive ensemble sound, supported by a deep musical understanding and a familiarity between the three musicians that has grown over many years.

They are dedicating their anniversary program to the sisters Nadia and Lili Boulanger, whose musical legacy has shaped and inspired the trio from the very beginning. With works by Gabriel Fauré, the most important teacher of the two sisters, and Maurice Ravel, a close friend of the family, a multifaceted panorama of the Parisian music world of the early 20th century emerges. The program is complemented by »Vitebsk« by Aaron Copland, one of Nadia Boulanger’s important early students, and Lili Boulanger’s touching »Deux Pièces«.

A Tribute to John Coltrane: Nathan Ott Quartett

    Einlass: 18:30 | Beginn: 19:30 |
