QUEERHISTORYMONTH
QueerHistoryMonth will take place in Hamburg from May 1st to 31st, 2026 (www.queerhistoryhamburg.de). Various events within the festival will bring the history (and stories) of the queer community in Hamburg to life. Everyone is welcome – Kings, Quings, Queens, Allies, Friends, (chosen) Families, and everyone in between and beyond!
Event
Come together, form groups, play and sing your hearts out!
Glamour, glitter and confetti. Miss van Biss and bosie M. challenge you to a music bingo!
Fancy an evening full of music, fun, and queer history? Then come to our music bingo with a queer historical theme!
We'll be playing songs by queer icons and artists who have made history – from David Bowie and Madonna to Freddie Mercury and Lil Nas X. Between rounds, we'll offer fascinating insights into queer music history: Who opened up new spaces? Which songs became anthems? And why?
Here's how it works: You get a bingo card with song titles. We play the songs – if you recognize them, you mark them off. A full row? Bingo!
There are great prizes – and of course fame and glory.
Whether you're a music nerd or a casual listener, alone or with friends: everyone is welcome! No prior knowledge is necessary – just a desire for music and a relaxed evening in a pleasant atmosphere.
Come along, play with us, learn a bit about queer music history, and celebrate the diversity on the playlist with us!
