Join us for a tour of our exhibitions! Experienced art educators will introduce you to the exhibition "BUT I | THE WORLD | I SEE | YOU" as part of the 9th Triennial of Photography 2026. Within the context of the Triennial of Photography, the exhibition "BUT I | THE WORLD | I SEE | YOU" presents works by 40 international artists from different generations. They all explore wrinkles in the content of photographs: details that reveal something about an image and, each time, uncover its historical layers. In cooperation with the International Summer Festival 2026 at Kampnagel, the Hamburger Kunsthalle presents Nan Goldin's iconic slideshow "The Ballad of Sexual Dependency" from its collection, as well as performances by the dancer and choreographer Xavier Le Roy. In addition to the event ticket, you will need a valid admission ticket for the Hamburger Kunsthalle.
