i'm growing fur – Reading Series for Poetry & Translation
Thursday, April 16, 2026: With Hasune El-Choly (Hamburg), Lisa Jay Jeschke (Munich), Odile Kennel (Berlin)
i'm growing fur is a reading series for poetry, translation, and multilingualism in Hamburg. It offers a space for texts, for exchange and encounters, and aims to help poets and translators gain greater visibility in Hamburg's cultural landscape. i'm growing fur focuses on translation and mediation, on listening to poetry together for all who want to engage in an inspiring reciprocal experience. We come together, we grow together – we surround ourselves and keep each other warm.
Before and after the readings, we invite you to stay with us. Doors open one hour before the start. There will be a small book table, bread, and a bar for drinks.
Curated and moderated by Jonis Hartmann & Ayna Steigerwald
