HOME Chor Hamburg
The jazz and pop choir HOME was founded in November 2017 by choir directors Vera Langer and Ramón Lazzaroni. Their debut program, "Home," brought together original arrangements, newly composed pieces, and songs exploring the theme of "home" from various perspectives. As early as May 2018, the choir celebrated its debut at the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg as part of the "Long Night of Singing" – performing in both the Recital Hall and the Grand Hall.
Since then, HOME has continuously expanded its repertoire, captivating audiences with programs such as "Licht" (Light), "Begegnung" (Encounter) – created during the COVID-19 pandemic – and "Crazy." With well-known songs in fresh arrangements and original compositions, the choir moves its listeners through emotional depth and a dedicated focus on their unique vocal sound. The ensemble is further enriched by talented instrumentalists from within its own ranks.
The choir’s musical journey is inspired by coachings with renowned experts such as Rabih Lahoud, Felix Powroslo, Suba Sankaran, Dylan Bell, and Morten Kjaer. HOME particularly values collaborations with other musicians and choirs, including the classical choir HXOS from Berlin, the jazz ensemble FAVO, and various other groups.
HOME has also been a successful participant at the German Choral Festival (Deutsches Chorfest): In 2022 in Leipzig, the choir won 3rd Prize in the Jazz/Pop 2 category, as well as a Special Award for the "Most Emotional Performance." In 2025 in Nuremberg, HOME ranked among the Top 5 choirs in its category. The choir is uniquely shaped by its dual leadership; Vera Langer and Ramón Lazzaroni combine musical diversity, creativity, and energy. Currently, the choir is working on its new program "Elements," featuring arrangements that explore the four elements and their significance.

Local Vocal Aarhus
Local Vocal offers the finest pop a cappella from Aarhus, Denmark. Since its inception in the 1990s, this ensemble of nearly 30 singers has been an active part of the dynamic choral scene in the "secret capital" of modern pop choral music. Through international concert tours, a proud 2nd place at the Aarhus Vocal Festival, and their viral "90s Medley" (boasting over 8 million views on YouTube), Local Vocal has made a name for itself far beyond Denmark's borders.
The constant evolution of their own style and the a cappella genre in general is a core part of the choir's philosophy – an ambition led by Philip Eick since 2016. The joy of singing together and merging into a greater harmony touches and inspires the audience whenever Local Vocal takes the stage. You can listen to their new EP "Overcome Things" on Spotify and watch their brand-new video for "Overcome" on YouTube:
