From August 6 to August 23, 2025, artist Stephanie Hüllmann will exhibit assemblages, installations, and drawings at GEDOK, offering a compelling perspective on the visibly hidden aspects of our surroundings.
Her wall-based works—sculptural and corporeal in character—are composed of found materials, either from nature or salvaged from the cycle of discarded things. Carefully sewn by hand onto canvas, each element resists quick perception. Stephanie Hüllmann’s art deliberately opposes superficiality and haste. It advocates for attentiveness—for a renewed depth of perception toward the obvious things that often go unnoticed amidst the social and ecological upheavals of our busy lives.
