From May to July 2026 the HAMBURGER ARCHITEKTUR SOMMER (Hamburg Summer of Architecture) will celebrate a FESTIVAL OF ARCHITECTURE in places all over the city. Our information base you find at the URBANEO – Young Centre of Architecture – at Strandkai on the bank of river Elbe in the HafenCity. There you get all news and informations, meet people or just relax with a cup of coffee. And hopefully you will become curious about what is happening in more than 250 events.

The HAMBURG SUMMER OF ARCHITECTURE presents itself as a citizens‘ initiative in the culture of building and planning. Since 1994 it took place every three to four years, in 2026 for the 11th time. All Hamburg citizens are invited to take part. Main museums, galleries, universities, building departments, cinemas, students, architects, artists will present their projects. Exhibitions, film, performances, workshops, talks, guided tours – all formats are welcome. Visitors will experience a huge variety of events of subjects and themes on architecture, landscape planning, history of he city, space and design – mostly in an artistic context and depiction. People of all ages are welcome! As we present a lot of events for kids and young people.

The detailled programme you will find from March 2026 on our website: https://www.architektursommer.de/
