Despite 10 years of the Paris Climate Agreement, global emissions continue to rise. There is still no binding plan for the global phase-out of fossil fuels.
At the World Climate Conference (COP30), Germany could live up to its responsibility as a major industrialised country and stand up for ambitious climate targets. Instead, the Merz government is in the process of blocking climate targets in Germany and at EU level. That is why we are demonstrating on 14 November and demanding that the German government and the EU clearly support the Paris Agreement, present a strong EU climate target and finally get on track for climate justice.
