Gardening knowledge for children between 6 and 12 years old and their grandparents/parents in the Wandsbek Botanical Garden
Because we humans love blooming gardens and landscapes and like to give colorful bouquets of flowers as gifts!
However, this answer leaves many questions unanswered. For example:
- Why do butterflies, bees and bumblebees fly to flowers?
- Why aren't all flowers large and colorful?
How many different petals does a flower have?
Why don't all flowers have a fragrance?
Why do some flowers close in the evening while others open?
What happens when the flower wilts?
Obviously, answering the question is not that simple.
However, after this children's tour, it will no longer be a problem for you!
The guided tour takes place in the outdoor area of the Wandsbek Botanical Garden at Walddörferstraße 273.
Hortus is the Latin word for garden. The courses entitled "Garden Knowledge @hortus" take place as in-person events in the Botanical Garden.
A donation of two euros per person is requested (children free).
