Gardening knowledge for children between 6 and 12 years old and their grandparents/parents in the Wandsbek Botanical Garden
Plant parts such as leaves, fruits, flowers, and roots of certain plants are part of our daily diet. They provide vitamins, taste delicious, and are healthy. However, there are also plants whose leaves, fruits, flowers, and roots are not suitable for snacking because they contain toxic substances. The plant needs these substances to defend itself against pests.
But how can you tell poisonous plants from non-poisonous ones? Come to this guided tour for children and learn about some important poisonous plants.
The guided tour takes place in the outdoor area of the Wandsbek Botanical Garden at Walddörferstraße 273.
Hortus is the Latin word for garden. The courses entitled "Garden Knowledge @hortus" take place as in-person events in the Botanical Garden.
A donation of two euros per person is requested (children free).
