- Other
On the occasion of the Long Day of Urban Nature, members of the NABU Hamburg photography group will guide you through the exhibition " Stadt.Land.Wild " and will be available to answer questions.
The exhibition will be on view at the Wilhelmsburg Library from May 16 to June 26, 2025. Fascinating photographs of wildlife in and around Hamburg will be presented – from shy squirrels in parks to elegant waterfowl on the Elbe and Alster rivers. The exhibition invites visitors to rediscover the diversity of urban wildlife and raises awareness of the need to protect their habitats – right on our doorstep.
About the NABU Photo Group Hamburg
The NABU Hamburg photography group was founded in November 2014 and currently has 25 active members. Nature photography is at the heart of their work. The goal is to visually convey NABU's statutory mission—such as the preservation of biodiverse habitats and the protection of endangered animal and plant species.
Through its photographic work, the group supports publications and projects that promote the idea of nature and environmental protection. Members continually develop their image skills through joint photo tours and regular meetings. Further information about the group can be found at www.fotogruppe-nabu-hamburg.de .
