Manz will be accompanied by the Folkwang Chamber Orchestra Essen, which is known for its energetic, innovative programmes and high musical quality. Founded 67 years ago and deeply rooted in the city of Essen and the Folkwang spirit, the orchestra under the direction of Johannes Klumpp has steadily expanded its profile as a leading Mozart interpreter. Previous recordings of Mozart's symphonies and concertos have been highly praised by the specialist press and underline the ensemble's outstanding expertise.
