What does care work do to us? Who does it, and what does it look like in everyday life?

Four poets present their stories, perspectives and reflect on what the world of tomorrow might look like.

Can we redistribute care work, pay it (better), and make it easier? Laugh and rhyme about it? Can feminism be as thoughtful as it is funny? The answer is "YES!" – and you can be a part of it.

As part of the “Feminist Barcamp Hamburg 2025: Who cares?!” we invite you to the FLINTA* Poetry Slam: “Who cares?!” with the fantastic host: Isa Bögershausen (Hamburg).

Competing with and against each other are the spoken word artists: Lavender Szymula (Hamburg), Birte Stolte (Münster), Antonia Josefa (Hannover) and Johanna Wack (Hamburg).

Cheer them on and vote: Who will be the Care Poet of the evening?

Organizational matters:

Note: This event is part of the Barcamp. Those who have already registered do not need to register again.

All (budding) feminists – regardless of gender, profession, age or (social) background – are welcome.

Participation is free, but seats are limited. Registration is required via the registration button on our website at www.fes.de/lnk/5pi.

The venue is wheelchair accessible. Please let us know in advance if you have any special needs.

We will offer childcare on-site. Please let us know by email to nord@fes.de by October 31, 2025, whether you would like to use this service and the age of the children you require. In any case, a play and relaxation room will be available for children and their caregivers.

The barcamp and the evening program are organized by the Friedrich Ebert Foundation in cooperation with the Museum of Work as part of the exhibition "Care! When Love Becomes Work."

Funded by the State Center for Political Education of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg.
