»Arbeit und Struktur« (Work and Structure), those were the most important factors which stabilised Wolfgang Herrndorf during the three years he was ill with a tumour. In his blog of the same name, the author of the successful novel »Tschick« (Why We Took the Car) documented and commented about his experiences and thoughts about death. Following a streamed concert in 2022, these final words can now be experienced live as a reading with music – at the Hamburg International Music Festival, which in 2026 is fittingly under the theme of »Ende« (Ending).
