For Plattsnackers: A little trip on the Elve with the “RIGMOR of Glückstadt”
The language of the ropemakers and skippers on the Nedderelv is Low German. In keeping with this tradition, we are once again doing an evening tour with the historic Tollkrützer “RIGMOR von Glückstadt”. On board the oldest cable car in Germany we had a Platt snack that evening. In practice, we explain the common words and snacks that the sailors need. Guests can touch, listen, snack or simply enjoy a pleasant evening. And maybe a little story from the waterfront would be nice too.
And don't worry: We also speak High German...of course the team also speaks Standard German!
