This DJ workshop enables participants to familiarise themselves with the basic techniques of digital DJing – especially with CDJs. The focus here is on trying things out: the selection and procurement options for music, technical expertise, software and platforms for DJing itself. At the same time, questions about everyday life, the peculiarities and challenges of the DJ profession are welcome.
DJ Resom leads the workshop. As internationally successful DJ she is wordlwide in high demand and has been a resident artist at clubs such as ://about blank and Paloma in Berlin, as well as Hamburg’s Golden Pudel Club.
The workshop takes place on October 4 (vinyl) and October 5 (CDJ) in cooperation with Spoon. Spoon is a DJ workspace founded in 2018 for women, trans, and non-binary individuals, where they can learn to DJ with vinyl in a non-judgmental atmosphere, exchange ideas, and develop as artists.
