"Braver Books" - Vielfalt im Buch: Lesung mit Dayan Kodua

As part of "Diversity Week," we, together with Ossara eV, cordially invite you to the event "Braver Books!" - Diversity in Books. Hamburg-based author and actress Dayan Kodua will present her book "If My Hair Could Talk" in an interactive reading. Her stories focus on the perspectives of Black people and diverse identities, creating space for dialogue about identity and diversity. Interpretation in German Sign Language (DGS) will be available for the event.
Afterwards, children and families can discover a diverse selection of children's books in a book exhibition that address topics such as identity, diversity and inclusion.
The books "If My Hair Could Talk" and "It's Only Skin," from which readings will be made, can be purchased on site.
