A dance piece by Chorosom for people with and without disabilities

What happens when discrimination is not explained but danced – and how does our perspective change when bodies speak and we are ready to truly look?

“BLABLABLA” brings personal experiences of exclusion to the stage: as movement, as memory, as resistance. Pain, anger, and hope become visible and physically tangible.

In intense encounters, the dancers support and carry each other, seeking closeness and a shared rhythm. The body becomes a site of confrontation and a space for solidarity. What often remains invisible gains presence.
"Through movement I have come closer to myself."
Voices tell of how paralysis could transform into anger and strength. “BLABLABLA” shows these processes unvarnished – vulnerable, loud, and powerful.

The performance is a clear statement against sexism and all forms of discrimination. It creates a space where FLINTA perspectives are shared, strengthened, and negotiated together. At the same time, it looks to the future: to longing, self-empowerment, and the desire for visibility.

The piece was developed with an artistic audio description.

Guided tour and introductory workshop one hour beforehand.

Funded by the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg, Authority for Culture and Media, supported by Wiese eG and Hamburger Sprechwerk.
