On September 28, 2025, the "Together for Children" fundraising run will take place in Lüneburg's Kurpark (spa park) in support of the Löwenherz children's hospice. The goal of the event is to raise funds for the hospice's important work through community running.
The charity run consists of three laps, open to runners of all ages. A special children's run for participants under ten ensures that even the youngest can participate in this charity event. The goal is to complete as many laps as possible within 90 minutes. The donation amount is made up of lap fees funded by sponsors and donations from participants.
- The first run starts at 11:00 am and ends at 12:30 pm.
- The children's run (for children under 10) starts at 1:30 p.m. and lasts until 1:50 p.m., with the young runners completing the 400-meter laps.
- The second main run will take place from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
In addition to the athletic challenge, participants and visitors can look forward to a varied supporting program with music, refreshment stands, and child- and family-friendly entertainment throughout the day. After each run, the race results will be evaluated, and special achievements will be recognized.
The event offers a great opportunity to get active, experience community, and at the same time make a valuable contribution to the Löwenherz children's hospice.
